Alverez Smith

Surrounded by the love of his family, at the Tracadie Hospital, on Monday, July 29, 2024, Mr. Alverez Smith passed away at the age of 86. He was the husband of the late Pierrette Smith (June 10, 2024) and lived at the Villa Neguac, but formerly in St-Wilfred. Born on September 25, 1937, he was the son of the late John Smith and the late Marguerite Robichaud.

He is survived by three children: Steve (late Tammy Smith), Tammy (Sheldon LeBlanc) and Dwayne (Leanne Smith); nine grandchildren: Christa, CJ, Justin, Ryan, Marilyn, Isabelle, Jonathon, Rebecca and Taylor; 17 great-grandchild; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, James (Patricia Smith); a sister, Cynthia Goulette (Dave Curry); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Barbara (Rick Bohemier), Gille (Anita Chartier), Jean-Paul (Louise Chartier), Alfred (late Jeannine), Betty (late Ronald), Jeannette (late Vincent Smith) and Jeanne (late Louis Smith), as well as several nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was predeceased by two brothers and a sister: Vincent Smith, Louis Smith and Florida Viau.

According to his last wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
