Marie Rose (Mary) Fournier

At the Tabusintac Nursing Home, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the age of 93, Mrs Marie Rose (Mary) Fournier, wife first marriage of the late Raymond Legacy, second marriage of the late Edmond Ramsay and in the third marriage of the late Philippe Fournier. Formerly lived in Barryville. Born in Tremblay Settlement, August 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Léonard Roy and the late Précille Guitard.
She is survived by three sons: Normand Lagacy (Linda), Daniel Legacy (Line) and Arthur Lagacy (Suzanne); three daughters: Yvonne Chiasson (Jean-Guy), Precilla Mason and Jeannette Lagacy (Wayne Drysdale); two brothers: Rodolphe Roy (Doreen) and John Roy; seven sisters: Lilianne Pitre (late Herménigilde), Patricia Lavigne (Donat Hachey), Philomène Boudreau (late Emery), Emma Boudreau (late Napoléon), Lissey Pelletier (Raymond), Baselice Boudreau (Edmond) and Léa Boudreau (late Valmond). Mary leaves behind two stepsons Rhéal (Isabel) and Ronald Fournier who have been looking after her for the past 20 plus year. She will be greatly missed by them as well. She was cherish by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces up to the 5th generation and her favorite niece, Claudette (Chiasson) Poupart.
Predeceased by her daughter, Stella; her son, Charles; three sisters: Evelyn Chiasson, Dianne Aubé and Yvette Lagacy, as well as a brother, Wilfred Roy.
The family will receive family and friends on Friday December 8 at 2pm at Robichaud & Son Home, 50 Otho Street, Neguac. The funeral service will be held at the Holy Family Church of Barryville on Saturday December 9 at 1 pm
Visitation hours: Friday December 8, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 and Saturday December 9, 10:30 until the departure.
